The Mozilla community and Firefox users from all over the world have raised over $10,000 for the Madagascar Fauna Group as a part of our celebration for Firefox 3.6, Namoroka!
I’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated and spread the word about the campaign. We got a lot of great feedback from the community and from users about this project, even a bake sale at the MoCo offices in Mountain View.
We’re looking forward to the next Parks campaign later this year (think beaches). Thanks again everyone. The lemurs thank you too!
That’s great news. It will be interesting to hear what Madagascar Fauna Group does with these contributions. Preferably they can tell us through a video from John Cleese
